A former rectory named by 6th Century Breton monks, Landewednack overlooks the golden sands of Church Cove and the rugged coastal scenery of the most southerly point in the UK. The house has been beautifully restored to enhance its location and charming historic features with an air of elegance and luxury.

Ensconce yourself in the calm and peaceful atmosphere of this jewel of spot: After a day exploring the beautifully manicured gardens and the surrounding coast and countryside, relax in the Jacuzzi or swimming pool, sip an aperitif in the drawing room and feast on the finest local produce whipped into masterful menus by your private chef. There are three luxurious double ensuite rooms, one twin and one single. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with four-poster beds and antiques and the bathrooms were made for relaxation and pampering

About Your Hosts

Erik and Sue Thorbek will share their passion for fun, the fine life and extravagant hospitality. The chef, Anthony, has been part of the family for years, and shares his passion for food through some of the most fresh and sumptuous menus in Cornwall.

Don your walking boots and head along the coast path on the doorstep (Erik is happy to chauffeur you to/from start/end point in the Bentley.
Swing a golf club on one of the country’s most picturesque golf courses at Mullion.
Visit some of the great gardens of Cornwall and a plethora of local craft stores and farm shops.
